To say that Bunbury Junior Sedan speedway driver, Jake Fisher has had an outstanding season is an understatement.

With strong finishes at all blue ribbon events, he is now setting himself up in the motorsport world as a name to look out for. A 12th place A Main finish at the national title in NSW, along with a runner up 2nd place at the WA Championship probably highlights the season that was.

Not to mention his numerous podium finishes across several tracks across WA which has landed him a massive trophy haul for season 23/24.

Adding to the trophy cabinet, was his 1st place in overall points at Collie Speedway along with his overall 2nd on points at Bunbury Speedway. This has set him up for what is to come in the next stage of his motorsport journey.

Asked if he could put a finger on his success in the sport in just three seasons, he was adamant that his partners, who have backed him from the start were most cru-cial to his success on the track
“My sponsors have helped alleviate our racing costs,” he said. “That takes the pressure off my mum and dad financially, so I wouldn’t be where I am if it wasn’t for all of them.”

Fisher will now turn his eyes to the tarmac with his new road racing Hyundai Excel ready to go. He intends to polish his skills at both Collie and Carco Raceway for an attempt at an entire Excel Series in 2025.

With his outstanding success, his will to succeed knows no boundaries…bring it on!
