Description
This new horse-specific grazing blend incorporates 9 different varieties of seed for the sole purpose of providing a winter feed into early spring feed option. By using the perennials of Everlast, Chicory, Phalaris, Fescue and Cocksfoot paired with a cereal in Ryecorn and your legumes of Balansa, Arrowleaf and Seradella, this mix ensures your horse will have a varied, highly palatable and nutritious diet.

Agronomic Information:
Ryecorn = winter to spring cereal with an ability to control soil erosion, provide rapid spring growth, suppression of weeds and provides forage.
Everlast = due to its early maturation it has the ability to provide abundant winter and early spring feed. Under the right conditions, it has the ability to persist up to 7 seasons.
Fescue = Mediterranean winter active grass, highly palatable and great nutritious feed option.
Cocksfoot = drought-tolerant species that grows vigorously in Autumn and Spring, providing nutritious feed.
Balansa = well adapted to most soils, balansa does very well under continuous grazing.
Arrowleaf = delivers abundant tonnage late in spring with it’s tall erect growth, perfect for grazing.
Seradella = is an early maturing pink pasture legume, proving very vigorous and productive.
Chicory = deep rooted herb providing high quality feed during winter.
Phalaris = deep rooted perennial with the ability to withstand dry conditions and is persistent under heavy grazing.
Rainfall is 450mm+.
