Description
Hornet Ryegrass – annual tetraploid is a mid-late maturing annual tetraploid designed to produce large amounts of feed in Winter and Spring. This extremely quick establishing vigorous seedling has the ability to produce high-quality feed throughout the season. Hornet has a rapid regrowth after grazing, performing well into the spring. With it’s higher sugar and moisture content, it’s an ideal option for your hay and silage crops, producing a palatable and digestible mix.

- Medium to high rainfall (550mm+)
- Performs best in a well-drained loam soil however, is a well-adapted product with the ability to perform in a range of soil conditions and profiles. Hornet will cope with short-term water-logging provided growing tip remains above water
- Sowing rates 25-30kg/ha
- Suitable for over-sowing.
