Description
This new variety to Bell Seeds has impressive root penetration allowing soil protection and helps prevent erosion. Pasat is proven to be faster to establish than other persian clovers on the market and rebounds quicker after a hay/silage cut allowing further growth and grazing potential. Its increased dry matter yields allow high hay production but also allows the ability for it to be used as a multi-graze option perfect for both Brown Manuring (chemical fallow) and Green Manuring (soil incorporation with tillage). Plant on its own or mix with long-season annual and Italian ryegrasses for a bulky pasture mix. Flowers 5-7 days after Shaftal making its flowering date around 170 days.
