Riley Ryegrass is a locally selected and produced premium annual early/mid tetraploid. This particular variety has been picked specifically for its high germination of more than 90% guaranteed. Minimum germination required is 80%, therefore making this product exceptional and putting it 10% higher than other varieties. The seed is then treated with Imidacloprid or Guacho to give it extra protection against red mite and black beetle for its first 6 weeks. This mid maturity premium annual ryegrass with its higher sugar and moisture content ensures digestibility and palatability perfectly suited for your hay and silage crops. It’s an excellent choice for direct seeding new pastures or to help rejuvenate older more established pastures. It’s proven to be a perfect substitute for your more traditional winter forage crops such as oats. ‘
