Description
Margurita French Serradella can be used as a direct replacement for Cadiz. Its upright growth habit compared to Cadiz allows it to be more tolerant to grazing. This highly productive pasture legume produces a large amount of biomass and has the ability to fix substantial amounts of nitrogen back into the soil. Margurita is suited to summer sowing from January to early March providing ideal conditions, with summer temperatures softening the seed pod allowing emergence on the first good autumn rains. Allowing for a long growing season, high biomass production and substantial N fixation.
