Description
Shaftal Persian Clover is a winter-growing annual, capable of excellent autumn through to spring growth. This valuable fodder crop has an extremely high production potential when partnered with a companion annual or short-term grass. Developed for its flexibility in grazing and multi-cut production, its tall erect mature growth allows for ease of manageability, making it a suitable option for hay and silage.

- Sowing Rates 6-8kg/ha as a sole crop or 2-4kg/ha as part of a mix
- Rainfall min 500mm+
- Suited to clay soils, tolerant of severe waterlogging and mild salinity.
- Low isoflavone content – no risk to breeding stock. Low risk of bloat
