Description
This brassica, bred specifically for its large tuber taproot has an enormous amount of benefits. This quick to maturity species (45-60 days), has quick grazing potential at 6 weeks, with multiple grazing and excellent palatability. The unique highly aggressive taproot helps alleviate compaction and can penetrate hardpans and sub-soils, controlling erosion and suppressing weeds. Its ability to be used as a cover crop is another benefit, plant between crops after harvest or as a companion with cereals for a high-quality forage option, that will help manage crop nutrients and reduce input costs.
