This very high-quality forage blend is ideal for finishing cattle or sheep while also serving as an effective paddock clean-up option. With no grasses included, it can be used cost-effectively to help manage grass weed burdens alongside targeted chemical control. The blend contains deep tap-rooted species that access subsoil moisture, supporting growth into summer, and includes perennial components such as chicory and plantain for extended productivity. It can be established in Autumn or Spring, provideing valuable late-spring feed when other crops begin to senesce and decline in nutritional value, and it responds strongly to irrigation or summer rainfall, ensuring reliable, high-nutrition grazing.
