Atomic Ryegrass – Annual Mid/late Tetraploid is an exceedingly quick germinating ryegrass with prolific winter growth potential. Due to its late maturation, Atomic is perfect for your hay and silage crops with great reliability to perform every time. This broadleaf tetraploid is highly palatable and nutritious with it’s higher sugar and moisture content, more so than most diploid varieties.
Agronomic Information:
- Medium to high rainfall zones (550mm+)
- Suitable for irrigation
- Performs best in well-drained loam soil, however, will cope with short-term water-logging provided growing tip remains above water
- Sowing rates 25-30kg/ha.
