By including the long season grazing oats, this allows it to handle multiple grazing with the added option for a large hay cut. The ryegrasses included in this mix have been chosen for their ability to give excellent coverage in a short or a long season, with the addition of the clovers to help boost the quality of the feed.

BPS Oat & Pasture Mix uses the same combination of our BPS Pasture Mix with the addition of oats. By including the long season grazing oats, this allows it to handle multiple grazing with the added option for a large hay cut. The ryegrasses included in this mix have been chosen for their ability to give excellent coverage in a short or a long season, with the addition of the clovers to help boost the quality of the feed. The two clovers and one sub-clover used in this blend are coated with Group C Inoculant which enhances the seeds’ ability for optimum nitrogen fixation.

Agronomic Information:

  1. Sowing Rates 50-60kg/ha
  2. Rainfall 600mm+
  3. Suits a reasonably well-drained soil type
  4. Multiple grazing with the ability to cut for hay/silage.

Seed pricing is per 25kg bag. Orders exceeding 1-tonne will be provided in bulk bags unless otherwise specified. Pricing is excluding GST and ex Bell Seeds. Pricing is subject to change without notice. Blend components may vary subject to product availability.
