Description
BPS Pasture Mix is by far our most popular seed blend to date. It uses a combination of early/mid, mid, mid/late tetraploid ryegrasses to give excellent coverage in a short or a long season. Its strong clover content (20%) with proven varieties helps boost this blend into a valuable fodder crop with extremely high production potential. Balansa Paradana clover has been used for its early flowering hard seededness and for its abundant spring growth and high-quality fodder characteristics. Paired with Persian clover for it’s later flowering it’s capable of excellent autumn through to spring growth. These white seeded yannicun clover varieties are perfect for handling waterlogging, giving this blend diversity for both harsher soil and weather conditions. The two clovers and one sub-clover used in this blend are coated with Group C Inoculant which enhances the seeds’ ability for optimum nitrogen fixation.
