Description
BPS Wicher Pasture mix uses a locally selected and produced mid maturity annual ryegrass with the addition of one sub clover and two clovers. This mix is a slightly more economical choice for a pasture blend, being a good option for hay or silage cut in mid-October. Wicher shows good early vigour and high forage yields, with excellent palatability and digestibility due to its high sugar levels and moisture. The clover varieties in this mix are known for their high feed value and their ability for regeneration allowing multiple high fodder grazing. The two clovers and one sub-clover used in this blend are coated with Group C Inoculant which enhances the seeds’ ability for optimum nitrogen fixation.
