This 12 species mix consisting of Peas, Ryecorn, Williams Oats, Early, Mid and Late Maturing Ryegrasses, Balansa Clover, Crimson Clover, Cocksfoot, Chicory and Plantain, is perfect for the Regenerative Farmer wanting to get extra nutrients back into their soil. Each of these varieties can provide much needed benefits individually, collectively they provide a great basis for your inter-row planting, cover cropping and multi species pasture. Clovers are renowned for their nitrogen fixation capabilities, whilst Ryecorn has the ability to control soil erosion and suppression of weeds. Your ryegrasses provide great ground coverage whilst providing ample feed and grazing capabilities. Cocksfoot has deep, penetrating roots that not only provide forage during dry times but also improve the soil by increasing it’s humus content. Chicory has a deep taproot (up to several meters), allowing it to draw on deep soil water reserves. The root acts as a storage organ for the plant, trapping all those helpful nutrients dragged from deep below the ground. Plantain is a fast establishing perennial herb that is rich in minerals.
