Description
Leafy Turnip is a vigorous summer-growing fodder crop with excellent feed value and high leaf to stem ratio. Can also be used in Autumn with ryegrass and clover seeded at 2kg per hectare to drive extra protein and dry matter. This quickly germinating hybrid turnip x Chinese cabbage is a great option for early grazing with a quick recovery. Leafy turnip is an early maturing hybrid forage brassica that can be sown year-round often used for weed control and soil preparation. A great option for a break crop in between cereal pasture. This highly palatable variety provides excellent feed value with the potential to provide up to 10 tonne dry matter per hectare where moisture is available and soil fertility is good.

- Sowing 3-4kg per hectare as a standalone

- Responds exceptionally well to nitrogen application.
