Seaton Park is an early to mid-maturing black seeded variety of sub-clover. This moderately hard-seeded variety shows excellent Spring growth, showing persistence under heavy grazing and lower rainfall. It’s high tolerance to heavy grazing makes it a great option as a companion for your hay and silage crops. It’s improved disease resistance over Dalkeith, makes Seaton Park another option for permanent to semi-permanent pastures and crop rotations.

Agronomic Information:

  1. Sowing Rates 8-15kg/ha as a standalone crop or 3-6kg/ha as a companion
  2. Rainfall 400mm+
  3. Prefers well-drained soils or stony loams/clay
  4. Good frost tolerance.
