Description
Developed in New Zealand, this new forage radish has a multitude of application options. It’s large tap roots can penetrate as far as 1.8m deep, plowing and breaking up the hardpan whilst foraging for below ground nutrients. Once the above ground pasture is utilised, the root quickly decomposes, leaving behind aerated soil perfect for water penetration and helping to release nitrogen from the soil. The high levels of Glucosinolate in Sodbuster makes this radish an excellent natural bio-fumigant, which greatly reduces nematode populations. The leaves are exceptionally high in protein, making this radish a great livestock forage option.
