Description
Phalaris is a deep-rooted perennial with the ability to withstand dry conditions and is persistent under heavy grazing. It’s tolerance to withstand moderate salinity, flooding and waterlogged conditions is a bonus however it is proven to be susceptible to soil acidity. Phalaris is an ideal base for perennial pastures, mixing well with white clover in high rainfall areas or subterranean clover, Lucerne or annual medics in drier districts. This variety will provide nutritious feed throughout autumn, winter and spring.
