- Plant in autumn to allow root development over winter – resulting in a stronger lawn for summer
- Best suited to shady conditions, can struggle in full sun over summer

- Suits soils with pH 5.5-7.5
- Growing in bunches, germination occurs between 14-21 days season dependent
