Description
This Mediterranean winter active grass has the ability to grow more winter feed and is later maturing than traditional fescues. This drought-tolerant species grows vigorously from Autumn to Spring whilst becoming dormant in Summer. Charlem is a deep-rooted, perennial grass that grows in tussocks, being an ideal Lucerne companion plant. This variety’s ability to produce very high dry matter levels and its palatability make it a great nutritious feed option throughout Winter and into early Spring.
